Birchbox ~ Cynthia Rowley Beauty Spring Collection ~ Full Review + Pictures

A few weeks back I signed up to be a part of the Birchbox blogging community called birchbloggers. Not only have I had the pleasure of blogging about the products I receive in my monthly subscription, I've had the opportunity to win products to review! It's all very exciting!

I entered into a Twitter contest for this Cynthia Rowley Beauty Spring Collection and was selected as 1 of 100 winners.

Here are my thoughts on the items, including pictures and links to the Birchbox website. (Not affiliate links)

Let's begin with the box it came in. It was gold with Cynthia Rowley Beauty stamped in black. It was all very pretty and classy looking! They also sent a note congratulating me on my win (someone has beautiful penmanship!) Inside the box was gold and white paper strips, along with a card telling me everything inside.

All of the items inside were also in gold and black packaging except for the neoprene cosmetics bag.

Items included in the box:
Cynthia Rowley Beauty Confetti Neoprene Bag - This bag is the perfect size to hold all of the items in the spring collection! Very travel friendly and durable.

Cynthia Rowley Beauty Eyeshadow Palette - No.2 - This palette includes pastels and neutrals; good for day and night looks. I was able to easily transform my Saturday shopping look into my Saturday night out look. Cotton Candy and Licorice have a slight sheen/ sparkle to them; Licorice more so. Confetti, Cloud, and Marshmallow are soft mattes. When dipping your shadow brush, you may kick up some powder but I found no fall-out once applied. I do suggest tapping your brush off before placing on your eye. The shadows are soft and easily blend-able. I always used a primer and with that, the shadows lasted throughout the day perfectly. Swatches are in natural light with primer.

The palette itself is a durable cardboard with a magnetic closure. It is wrapped in a paper design that matches the Confetti Neoprene Bag with a gold foil strip for the Cynthia Rowley name, of course, stamped in black. There is a mirror inside which makes it a very useful eyeshadow palette for travel.

Cynthia Rowley Beauty Liquid Liner  - These liquid liners and so fine tipped. I had no trouble getting a precise line! I am talking precise to the point I could have gotten in between lashes! The colors are Black and Brown. They are bold, inky, and smudge-proof. You'd think as strong as the color is and the smudge-proof factor they'd be hard to clean off...not so! Wiped off easily with 1 swipe of a makeup wipe.

Cynthia Rowley Beauty Eyeliner - The colors available (at time of post) are Black, Silver, Charcoal, Sky Blue, and Violet. These are super creamy and glide on with no pulling. The are long-lasting, pigmented, smudge-proof and again, very easily removed.

Cynthia Rowley Beauty Creamy Lip Stain Trio - These lip stains are so very creamy! The are moisturizing and not at all sticky. They don't have the longest wear for a stain, but it does last. I suggest reapplying after eating and drinking. The pigmentation is great and these do not flake or cake as they dry. The only color that comes out more sheer on my lips than the tube makes it seem is the Tulip (a purple/ pink color). It almost looks duo-chrome in the tube. Valentine is a bright coral color and Sugar is a lovely pink. They each have a slight shimmer but no chunky glitter.

Also included in the collection prize were a pair of Rowley Eyewear sunglasses and CuRious Candy - a delicious chocolate bar that didn't last long with me!

All in all, I am so pleased with this set! I can get multiple looks from the palette, lip stains, and eyeliners. What more could I ask for?! Oh, chocolate, and I got that too!!

Stay tuned for face of the day's using this collection!!
