Equate Beauty 2-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths

For the past few years I have been on a search for The Best makeup remover wipes. I think I found them, and at Walmart none the less.

I have tried every drugstore wipe available and nothing yet compares.

The Equate Beauty 2-in-1 Daily Facial Cloths are less than $10 for 60 dry wipes. Depending on how often you wash your face a day, these could potentially last you about 2 months. That's a deal!

They claim to be good for normal to dry skin. I have oily skin and find them to be perfect for my skin as well. They also claim to exfoliate and condition. The two sides are different textures and I find this to be true.

So, yes, they are dry which is great for travel. I know, I know, they aren't pre-moistened like most makeup remover wipes. But, calm down, it works.

All you have to do is wet the cloth, you can choose to use warm or cool water; I try to use warm. You will notice a lather on the wipe once it's wet. Then wipe or clean your face as you normally would. I can always clean my entire face with one wipe, using both sides.

After my first use I realized there was a slight film left on my skin. From then on I have always rinsed the cloth (yes, the grossness of the day rinses right off the cloth) and go over my face once more with the damp cloth. I'm then free to continue my regimen as normal.

If you'd like to see me in action - removing all the makeups - please watch this video:

BIC Soleil Glow Razors ~ Test and Thoughts

I received these razors (and coupons) from BIC via BuzzAgent for testing and reviewing purposes.

When I first received these, I was super excited. I love BIC razors and have used them for years. I was also pleasantly surprised at the number of coupons I received to share (and share I did!) and the colors of the razors are so pretty.

Recently, I've fallen in love with their 4 blade razors but switched them out with these for the past few weeks to review.

First Sight:

After opening and putting one in the shower and one in the tub, I noticed how large the head was. Then when I first used it, it felt huge in my hand. I thought I'd never get around the knees close enough to get all the hair! It did feel a bit awkward in my hand the first couple of uses, but it got better as time went on.

I immediately felt as if the Comfort Shield head was an extension of the lubricating strip as I shaved. I really didn't even need shaving cream but did test it with cream just for the heck of it.

It glides smoothly along the leg without pulling or feeling at all dry. It's actually quite nice.

And contrary to my initial feelings, it went perfectly around my knees and got all the little hairs that I normally miss ~ Yay! Of course, no shave of mine goes off without a hitch. In all my excitement of getting around my knees, I completely skipped part of my thigh haha! It's okay, I went back and got it the next shower.

Closely shaved, smooth leg:

All in all, I'm very happy with the BIC Soleil Glow razor and am so appreciative that I am able to test them and share the coupon love. I may purchase these in the future, honestly, the jury is still out on whether these are my favorite compared to the 4 blades, but we shall see!

Tutorial ~ Sally Hansen #AirbrushPerfectLegs VoxBox

Note: This was sent to me complimentary by Influenster for testing purposes. This post is part of a #contest.

Step 1: Shave those legs! You definitely want smooth legs when applying this.

Step 2: Following directions on the tube: Squeeze a quarter size of product into hand; smooth on evenly to legs and feet; rub in completely. Apply sparingly to knees and ankles. Allow to set before dressing.

Removes easily with soap and water. This is true, I washed it off my hands with ease after applying to legs.

I can say I can tell a difference in how my legs look. With this, just be sure it will be sunny and/ or not raining when you go out! I did apply a little too much to one leg and too much to my knee and ankle area; there is some caking around those areas and it does look like makeup. Otherwise, I would wear this for special occasions.

Here are before and after photos:

Before - you can see my legs are splotchy and red

During - you can see my left leg is slightly darker and more evenly toned than my right

After - I did use a flash for this and forgot to for the before, but you can see how smooth and even my legs look with a full application.

I hope this has been helpful!

Pure Joy

Thanks to Mama Kat and her writing prompts, I'm back to blogging! Get more info here:

The prompt I chose today is about the joy in my present moment. Let me tell you, I could talk and write all day about this topic if I weren't worried it would cut into my lovin' time.

I am a new mother to the cutest baby on the planet! (In my opinion lol) I am 34 years old and until 2 years ago I'd never considered having children. Oh how things change! Thank you biological clock!! In March, we welcomed our baby boy Anakin (yes, a Star Wars name) and I don't believe I will ever get enough of him.

I love everything he does. All mothers probably know what I'm talking about.

He is all the joy of my present moment and all of my future if I had  to guess. My best friend asked how I liked being a mom. I told her I can't remember my life before him and can't imagine my future without him. It's quite amazing, this feeling.

I'll stop now, no need to bore you by describing all his sweet sounds and faces...let me know if you want a separate blog post on that!
